Start Business Services FZ CO
Last updated 16 September 2026

This policy says what happens to your information when you use this website: what we collect, who receives it, and how long we keep it.

1. Who we are

Start Business Services FZ CO, Boulevard Plaza Tower 2, Level 23, Downtown Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Licensed by IFZA, the International Free Zone Authority, Dubai.

+971 4 409 6905 · info@dubaistartbusiness.com

In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Start Business Services FZ CO. "You" means anyone using this website. We decide what happens to the information described here, which makes us responsible for it.

To ask us anything about your information, or to use any of the rights in section 13, email info@dubaistartbusiness.com. That address reaches us directly.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers dubaistartbusiness.com — the enquiries we receive through it, and the cookies and tracking it uses.

It does not cover the work we do once you become a client. If you engage us, we will tell you separately what happens to the information you give us for that work.

3. What we collect when you contact us

Our contact form asks for your name, email address, mobile number and a subject, and lets you add a message. We use what you send to answer you and to work out with you whether we can help.

Some things are submitted with the form that you do not type:

  • The country code you picked in the phone field, which travels with your mobile number.
  • A hidden field identifying where the enquiry came from, so we can tell which part of the site and which campaigns bring people to us.
  • A Google Ads click identifier, if you reached us by clicking one of our adverts. This is only present if you arrived from an advert.

Please do not put sensitive information in the message box — health details, criminal records, passport or ID numbers — unless we have asked you for it.

If you email us, call us or message us on WhatsApp instead, we keep what you send so that we can reply.

4. What happens to your enquiry

Your enquiry is emailed to us, and it is also stored in Zoho CRM, the system we use to manage enquiries and client work. That is where it stays while we deal with it.

The email itself is delivered by Google. Our website sends it through the Gmail interface of our own Google account, so Google handles the message in transit and holds it in our mailbox afterwards.

We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

5. Live chat and WhatsApp

The chat window on this site is Zoho SalesIQ. It only loads if you accept marketing cookies. Until then it does not run at all, and nothing about your visit reaches it.

If you do use the chat, Zoho receives what you type and information about your visit, such as the pages you looked at and the general area you are in.

The WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send it, and from that point the conversation is held by WhatsApp, which belongs to Meta.

6. Cookies and tracking

Apart from the cookies this site needs to work, nothing is set unless you agree through the cookie banner. You can change your answer at any time from the Manage consent tab at the bottom right of the page, or from section 7 of our Cookie Policy.

Our Cookie Policy lists the cookies this site uses, grouped by the service that sets them. In short:

  • Necessary — remembering your cookie choices, and letting the site work. These are set either way.
  • Statistics — Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, so we can see how the site is used.
  • Marketing — Google Ads, to measure which adverts lead to enquiries and to show our adverts to people who have visited, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag, which does the same for LinkedIn.
  • Live chat — Zoho SalesIQ, as described in section 5.
  • Embedded content — a Google map on some pages, and a YouTube video on one. Both are held back until you accept marketing cookies, and both set their own cookies once they load.

Our articles link to government, regulator and other outside websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for them.

7. What loads before you choose

Two things load before you answer the cookie banner, and it is better that you know.

Google's tags load, but in a restricted mode. Google Analytics and Google Ads are loaded on every page, and until you accept they run with storage switched off: they set no cookies, they do not build an advertising profile of you, and the signal they send Google says you have not consented. If you accept, they switch to normal operation. If you decline, they stay restricted.

Our fonts are loaded from Google. That means Google receives your IP address when a page loads, whatever you answer on the banner.

On our contact page, Google reCAPTCHA also loads before you choose, because it is what stops the form being used by bots. It sets one cookie and checks whether the submission comes from a person.

8. Who we share your information with

We share your information only with the providers who help us run the website and handle enquiries, and only as far as each one needs it.

Provider What they do for us What they receive
Zoho Stores and manages enquiries (Zoho CRM), runs the live chat (Zoho SalesIQ), and connects our Zoho systems to each other (Zoho Flow) Your contact form submission; anything you type in chat, and information about your visit
Google Delivers our email; website analytics and tag management; advertising measurement; spam protection; fonts, maps and video Your enquiry email; the cookie and tracking data in section 6; your IP address, as in section 7
LinkedIn Measures which LinkedIn activity leads to enquiries Marketing cookie data, only if you accept
Meta WhatsApp, only if you choose to message us there Whatever you send on WhatsApp
Amazon Web Services Hosts the website and its database Everything the website holds
Wordfence Blocks attacks on the website The IP address and request details of visits to the site

We may also hand over information where the law requires it, or where we need to protect our own legal position.

9. Why we are allowed to use your information

  • Answering your enquiry — because you asked us to, and because we have a clear interest in replying to people who contact us.
  • Analytics and marketing cookies — because you agreed, and you can withdraw that at any time.
  • Spam protection and site security — because we have an interest in keeping the site working and free of abuse.
  • Records we have to keep — because the law requires it.

10. Where your information is held and sent

We are based in the United Arab Emirates. The website and its database are hosted on Amazon Web Services in London, United Kingdom. The database sits with the website, not somewhere separate.

Our providers are international companies, so your information may be handled in other countries, including outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. We use established providers that publish their own data protection terms.

11. How long we keep it

What How long
Contact form enquiries, including ones that never become client work 5 years
Client records and correspondence 5 years
Live chat records 5 years
Website analytics 14 months, set in Google Analytics
Your cookie choice 365 days, then the banner asks again

Backups of the website are kept as part of hosting it, and they include the data the website holds. Where the law requires us to keep something for longer, we keep it for as long as the law says.

12. Keeping it secure

The site runs over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiries and client records is limited to the people who need it. The website and its software are kept up to date, and the providers we use are chosen partly on their own security.

No website can promise complete security.

13. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may be able to:

  • ask for a copy of what we hold about you
  • ask us to correct it
  • ask us to delete it
  • object to how we are using it, or ask us to limit that use
  • withdraw your consent, where we relied on it
  • ask us to send it to you or to someone else in a portable form

Email info@dubaistartbusiness.com and tell us what you want. We may need to check who you are first. We aim to answer within one month, and we will tell you if we need longer.

14. Complaints

If we have handled your information badly, tell us first and give us the chance to put it right.

You may also be able to complain to a data protection authority — normally the one where you live. In the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner's Office, and in Ireland the Data Protection Commission.

15. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when what we do changes, and the date at the top changes with it.
